Famous Nigerian stand-up comedian Basketmouth has ran into a woman that believed in his talent 16 years ago.

The
woman who was then at the University of Benin, Edo state the comedian
revealed paid him N800 to perform at their departmental dinner.
Bright Okpocha as Basketmouth is fondly called took to his Instagram page to celebrate Nwoko. He wrote:
Basketmouth and the woman who gave him his first comedy job Irene Nwoko
“So I bumped into Irene Nwoko,
the lady that paid me N800 to perform at their engineering dinner back
then in Uniben.....this was in 2000. Thank you for believing in my brand
Irene.”
Basketmouth recently buried his dear mum on November 27, 2016. Her mother died in the night of October 3, 2016.
